The project responded to the fact that the education of high school teachers in the field of new knowledge in the area of sustainable development, environment, economy and information technology is not covered by a coherent education system. Within the project, educational needs in these areas were explored and, based on these surveys, training courses, distance learning aids and e-learning environments were created and pilot courses were implemented. The results were then evaluated and adapted to the final version of the education system.

The aim of the project was to create an interconnected system of two courses, which consist of distance / combined training modules in the field of selected social science disciplines with links to issues of sustainable development, the environment, economy and IT for grammar school and high school teachers in the region.

Conclusions of the project:

The outputs of the project are two courses for teachers of grammar schools and secondary schools accredited for further education of teachers by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
