In the newly prepared programming period 2021 – 2027, the so-called cross-cutting areas were proposed within the framework of strengthening synergies between individual thematic areas, through which a comprehensive approach in financing from the EU structural funds should be achieved. These are (1) adaptation to climate change, (2) society 4.0 and (3) the territorial dimension. As part of this project, the European Commission has set itself the objective of assessing the extent to which the relevant measures on adaptation to climate change have been (or will be) able to be incorporated into operational programs to be funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund.
The subcontractor, the IREAS centrum, will be represented by Assoc. Prof. Martin Pelucha.
