The main objective of the project was to expand the supply of further education by creating a pilot education course aimed at people who meet with the CAN (Child Abuse and Neglect) syndrome in their practical work to increase their expertise and competitiveness.
It was a further education course formed based on the needs of our four target groups: nurses, social workers in OSPOD (Departments of Social and Legal Protection of Children, similar to CPS), social workers in crisis centres or low-threshold centres, and criminal investigators. Learning materials and outlines were created by professionals who know theory and practice of target groups in work with the CAN syndrome or work with it themselves. The Jan Amos Komensky University was the project partner.
