Are you a professional staff member of a pupil’s parent who wishes to pursue development of her or his skills? In a way that is entertaining and playful? Let the pupils play the education game Expedition. The setting of a mountaineering expedition offers a number of tasks and fun activities that help practice the pupils’ various skills.

The project was focused on prevention of specific learning disabilities in the early school period and to support pupils with specific learning disabilities. This reflects the main objective of the project, which was inclusion of pupils with special educational needs in the education system. The project prepared an education programme for development of perceptual and cognitive functions. Exercises focused on areas of partial deficits (visual perception, auditory perception, right-left orientation, spatial perception, intermodality, seriality, working memory, sequence, concentration, attention, vocabulary). The education programme was developed in an electronic format with interactive elements (video, flash and animation). The education programme was implemented by teaching staff who integrated pupils with special educational needs into the mainstream classroom.
